Now I am a lot better about keeping new with A/C cleanings.
For a while I was dealing with a smelly a/c. It had a wet, musty smell every time it operated. Since the A/C doesn’t get a lot of action in Chicago, IL, I thought it wasn’t a big deal. It ran, was giving me nice energy bills, as well as would reliably turn on. So who enjoys a foul smell? Well I did when I realized I was hosting family Easter this year as well as pretty much everyone was coming to my home. The last thing I wanted was for pretty much everyone to smell that funky smell. I immediately got on the PC with a Chcaigo A/C repair business. I told them my issue as well as paid to have them out right away. The A/C company gave my component a great scrubbing, then he showed me what my smelly issue was. I had mold all over my cooling coil. As the A/C fired up, the air would blow over the mold as well as that was the smell! Okay, that is disgusting. I was smelling as well as breathing in moldy air quality over and over again. I am amazed I didn’t get sick or develop some kind of odd fungus. I was certainly cheerful when the guy showed me that issue. Now I am a lot better about keeping new with A/C cleanings. Once a year I call for A/C service in the Spring to get the cooling component washed up. I make sure they affix mold, mildew, as well as bacteria. I don’t want that smell again or to have spores being blown over. So gross to feel about even this afternoon.
