Setting up space heaters for work

I don’t want to adjust the thermostat, because it would heat the entire home rather than simply the room that I work out of plus that’s a big energy waste

I’ve been toiling since I was 11 years outdated in all sorts of positions, just trying to acquire some currency plus support myself as best as possible, and i’ve worked at horse barns, in retail positions, plus in scientific research laboratories, however none of them have ever seemed like something I could do for the rest of my life. Just recently I’ve embarked on a major life change plus decided to try to follow my passions, rather than following occupations that don’t satisfy me. I’m really lucky to be able to make this attempt, plus I prefer the jobs I’m pursuing currently. I get to stay at home plus write all day long, plus I feel great about what I’m doing… The only thing that I don’t prefer is how freezing it gets sitting still all day, staring at a computer. I’ve tried wrapping myself up in extra layers of clothing plus blankets, although I don’t feel like any heat is being trapped from my body. I don’t want to adjust the thermostat, because it would heat the entire home rather than simply the room that I work out of plus that’s a big energy waste. I know that my good friend and I can’t afford zone controlled heating right now, since my income is harshly lower than it used to be, so I feel like I’m stuck being cold all day long for the time being. The only solution I’ve found is to gather all my electric space heaters around my desk, plus bask in the moderate net that they create in my makeshift office.
