The building that houses my dorm is a single one of the places with a non-working boiler.
I’m in my final year of undergraduate school as a biology student. Things haven’t been all that easy over the last year. I had exams a week ago plus I’m still waiting to see what my scores are going to be. I’m not preoccupied with my GPA as long as I don’t get anything lower than a high B, but it’s still intimidating. The graduate school I plan to attend sent me an acceptance letter in the mail last week, so that has taken some of the pressure off with my ongoing school performance. They simply don’t want to see my grades completely plummet during my senior year. As a whole, I’ve managed to sustain my respected grades. However, I haven’t been entirely comfortable recently in both my dorm plus in all of my classrooms. Depending on what building you happen to occupy on campus at the moment, you would either feel too chilly or too overheated. It’s the frosty season, but some of the boilers aren’t working in a few places throughout the campus. The building that houses my dorm is a single one of the places with a non-working boiler. I’ve been absolutely freezing in my room while trying to sleep every night while shivering on a regular basis. I had to purchase a space gas heating device this past week just to remain warm. I heard from a single of the maintenance workers that the administration had ordered an industrial boiler rental while fixing the busted boiler in our building. Every part of me hopes the rumor is true, because this small plus flimsy space gas furnace isn’t going to do well in this insanely chilly weather.
