Ever since people started to freak out about the virus, the movie theater in my town has been closed.
I worked at the theater during the week and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Suddenly I was out of a job and still in need of money to pay for my car. My dad agreed to give me some part-time work at his business. My dad is in the HVAC business. He is still busy, even though we take a lot of extra precautions. Every technician in the HVAC business wears gloves and an n95 mask while out on residential and commercial repair calls. We are also sanitizing and cleaning all of the work trucks, tools, and shared surfaces. People still need cool air at home, so we still have a number of repair calls each afternoon and morning. I spend the morning cleaning and sanitizing all of the surfaces inside of the shop. I also spend time in the evening wiping down all of the tools and everything in the office. I have been out in the HVAC work truck a couple of times with my dad, but he doesn’t let me assist with any jobs. I am strictly there to ride along and help carry tools up and down the stairs. I hope that all of this worry and fear will go away in a few short weeks, because I miss working at the movie theater. I always had my pick of the latest and greatest movies, and the manager allowed me to let my friends into the theater for free.
