Kim and I wondered if we would find someone suitable, but thankfully the Michigan Bar Association recommended a couple of great attorneys to choose from, numerous offering certain services like “pro bono,” or free
Ever since my sister started riding her bike 5 years ago, all of my family has collectively been worried about her safety. Although Michigan sits somewhere in the heart for the total number motorcycle accidents compared to other places, we still worry. The day might come where every one of us gets the frightening iPhone call announcing my sister’s death. Still, every one of us have all come together to try to stop my sister from regularly riding on torn up highways on the outskirts of Detroit. I don’t want Kim to get pummeled on I-94 or I-71 while she’s on her way to work in the evenings. Kim called us one day to say that she fell off her bike on Eight Mile Road at 1 in the morning. Then a few weeks after this, she was involved in another accident on her bike, this time she was rear ended on her way to Warren to visit her boyfriend. Kim had to find a personal injury attorney as quick as possible. It was pressing to us that we not only find a reputable personal injury attorney, but that we find one with good experience with negligent motorcycle accidents. Kim and I wondered if we would find someone suitable, but thankfully the Michigan Bar Association recommended a couple of great attorneys to choose from, numerous offering certain services like “pro bono,” or free. The first Detroit lawyer we spoke to on the iPhone was great! He was patient & compassionate towards my sister’s situation.
